How are they used to deter criminal behavior?
When deploying cutting-edge security devices, our primary goal is to prevent criminal behavior from happening all together. When a suspicious individual is seen trespassing on site, our highly skilled video monitoring operators will issue voice commands, warning the individual that he/she is trespassing and that law enforcement will be alerted if they do not vacate the area. More often than not, the individual will take heed and leave the site.
What happens once they are issued?
In a situation where a voice command is not enough, our live communication speakers are used to communicate directly with local law enforcement on site, directing them to the exact location of the suspect. Once the incident is resolved, all voice commands are automatically stored in our proprietary security information reporting platform, syncroReports.

Voice commands through our live communication speaker are for more than just deterring criminal behavior. Through our Health & Safety monitoring service, our operators are trained to issue client specific voice commands. A voice command can be issued to workers who are not engaging in proper workplace health and safety practices such as not using PPE, not tying down when working at heights, and not following proper COVID-19 protocols.
Additionally, a common health & safety concern is homeowners showing up to their future homes unannounced. This behavior can quickly result in serious or even fatal injuries. Our video monitoring operators are trained to issue voice commands informing the homeowners that they are trespassing, and to schedule a tour with their homebuilder.
