In 2023, we redefined what it means to detect and deter crime. By leveraging our cutting-edge security technology and the unmatched expertise of our Live Remote Video Monitoring team and security professionals, we were able to offer unprecedented value and protection for our clients and their sites.
Our Monitoring team worked tirelessly to ensure our clients’ sites were secure and protected. In 2023, our operators issued a total of 79,715 crime deterrences, a 32.6% increase over 2022. Our primary mission is to deter crime before it happens, and the high rate of deterrences only continues to prove that proactive intervention is the best and most effective way to prevent crime.
Our Monitoring Operators worked alongside Police departments across Canada to help apprehend 771 individuals throughout 2023. Our collaboration with law enforcement was key to our success, and we worked in tandem with Police to keep our clients’ properties secure and protected. If criminals did not heed the warning of our proactive deterrents, Police were there to offer support and assistance when required.
Through the hard work of our Sales, Service, Development, Manufacturing, and Client Care Teams, we also expanded our reach into new and exciting markets and industries, including construction, recycling, critical infrastructure, emergency response monitoring, and more.
Our propriety security technology made all the difference.
In 2023, we leveraged the power of our revolutionary, proprietary security technology to detect and deter more crime than ever before, and made all information collected available to our clients through our proprietary reporting platform, syncroReports.
We kept a close eye on all of our clients’ sites and logged a total of 491,152 security reports – including descriptions, timelines, insights, and high-resolution images and video. We maintained full transparency and trust with our clients as we deterred criminals from striking at their sites.
Our License Plate Reader cameras tracked a total of 11,214,271 license plates across Canada, marking a 49.4% increase over the same period last year. The alphanumerical data from these license plates was stored within our own proprietary database, syncroPlates.
This powerful platform provides the ability to track vehicles as they enter and exit our clients’ properties. This led to better site and project management for our clients who had the power of syncro at their fingertips.
We leveraged the power of next generation artificial intelligence.
Our proprietary artificial intelligence technology evolved in new and exciting ways, as we collected more data & administered daily training that improved detections and ultimately, our efficacy in proactively deterring crime.
By eliminating false alarms and differentiating human from other movement on-site, our Live Remote Video Monitoring team was able to detect and deter criminals faster and more accurately than ever before.

One of the biggest developments for Caliber in 2023 was joining forces with Stealth Monitoring! In April, our companies came together to provide the most effective proactive security solutions across North America. Since then, our collaboration has led to even more value for our clients, while expanding our reach into new markets and industries where our combined security technologies & services will make an even bigger difference in the safeguarding of our clients’ assets.
