As community safety and well-being requires collaboration, we wanted to highlight the ways our innovative security systems and video monitoring operators work in tandem with law enforcement to help build & maintain a safer environment for our local communities.

Safer. Stronger. Together.

The week of November 6th to 12th is dedicated to showcasing the importance of community safety, and the recognition and celebration of the impact all of us have in ensuring our communities are safer, stronger, and provide togetherness.
Our systems have been developed to deter crime before it happens by leveraging our live video monitoring platform, live communication speakers to warn & deter trespassers, and highly visible blue LED strobe lights for visual deterrence. For the vast majority of instances, there is no need for police involvement; our security systems & services have a 98% crime deterrence rate, which frees up law enforcement to focus on more pressing matters.
However, in instances where crime does occur, our operators utilize high-resolution stationary cameras and pan-tilt-zoom cameras to gather as many details to assist law enforcement as they are being dispatched and arrive on site.

How do live operators collaborate with local law enforcement?

Crime is reported as it is being committed – live; the Police dispatch calls made from our UL Certified Monitoring Center are responded to as priority to 911 operators & patrolling officers as a ‘crime in progress’. As Police are dispatched, our team stays in close contact, providing ongoing updates as the incident unfolds. Once Officers arrive on site, our team assists them by directing them to the suspect’s location.
Our team’s work with the Police goes beyond monitored locations. Our security cameras are recording 24/7, even outside of standard monitoring hours, providing community coverage and allowing law enforcement to track suspects of crimes that may have taken place elsewhere. For example, an armed robbery could occur nearby and the features of the driver, vehicle, and license plate could be captured by our Video Monitoring devices and provided to law enforcement to assist in their investigation.
Our team of expert Investigators are readily available to review and conduct in-depth analysis, and security reports that add context and answers questions for any accident, whether criminal or accidental, that occurs on or around our client’s site. When Law Enforcement is provided with footage from our high-resolution video monitoring systems, the clarity provides strong evidence for use in court proceedings.

How do we seek to build up our local communities?

Our team is committed to providing more than just security to our local communities. By collaborating and supporting the Canadian Resource Centre for Victims of Crime, we have taken a proactive step to help assist victims of crime and their families, across Canada. These services are free-of-charge, confidential, and include victim support, advocacy, public education, memorial services, among many others.
We are proud to actively support this organization, and many others, that make such a difference locally, & nationwide.

Together, we can make our communities safer and stronger by uniting against crime.
