No matter where the site or what the situation, our unique approach allows us to tailor our systems & applications to provide total security for your site. For locations that require an additional layer of security beyond video monitoring, we deploy our innovative wireless intrusion alarm system, syncroDetect.
What is syncroDetect?
syncroDetect has been designed & engineered to be integrated with our remote video monitoring service to provide an additional layer of security & safety. This device is an effective security tool for mitigating theft & damage within areas of importance such as equipment lockers, site trailers, heavy machinery, or building interiors.
The syncroDetect unit is built in a NEMA 4X rated enclosure, which allows it to operate in any outdoor temperature (hot or cold) and provides protection from liquids such as rain, sleet, snow, and splashing water. In addition to liquid protection, a 4X rated enclosure is almost impervious to dirt, dust, ice, and corrosion, ensuring that it will operate under typical use conditions.
Power is the only site requirement for deploying a syncroDetect unit; in the event that your device loses power, our units will run off of an internal backup battery for up to 24 hours. This backup ensures that you will not go without security during a power outage, and gives our service technicians the time necessary to attend the site, and provide maintenance, if needed.
The wireless alarm sensors that secure your assets:
Each unit can be equipped with wireless door & window contact sensors, and indoor motion detection sensors that can be placed up to 2 kilometers away (line of site) from the unit. Our door & window contact sensors consist of a two part magnetic sensor that is connected when the door or window is closed.
In order to mitigate false alarms, these sensors were developed with an integrated algorithm that allows the sensor to detect the different energy between a person and other common disturbances, such as animals under 85Ibs. Both of these devices were designed long lasting batteries that can power the sensors for up to 5 years with regular use; eliminating the need for routine battery checks and changes.
Additionally, the contact sensor is encased in an IP66 rated enclosure, meaning that they are protected from environmental hazards such as dust, sand, and light debris that is commonly found on construction sites. An IP66 rated enclosure is also resistant to high-pressure water jets, in turn ensuring that the device is protected from weather such as light to heavy rain and snow.
Our Intrusion Alarm System in Action!
Once a sensor is tripped, an alert is instantly sent to our UL certified Video Monitoring facility, where our highly skilled operators will utilize the video security units in the area to gain a visual on the area where the alarm was tripped. Once a visual is established, our operators will attempt to deter the suspect by using our various power security peripherals.
Voice commands are issued from our live communication speakers, warning the suspect that they are on an off-limits property and that there actions are being recorded. As a visual deterrence, our operators utilize our blue LED deterrence strobe lights.
These lights can also be used for directing local law enforcement to the area of concern. If the suspect cannot be deterred, our operators will immediately contact the local law enforcement, providing them with critical details such suspect description, location and, behavior.
