This was the ideology behind the first designs for our Mobile Security Unit.
Why is our Mobile Security Unit an ideal solution for remote sites?
Coming standard equipped with 4 high-resolution stationary cameras, our Mobile Security Unit (MSU) provides a full 360o view of the area for our Monitoring Operators. In addition, a high-resolution Pan-Tilt-Zoom (PTZ) camera allows our Monitoring Operators to zoom in on specific locations of interest, gather details, & the collect evidence necessary to apprehend criminals. These security cameras are mounted on a sturdy telescopic pole, which can be extended up to 7 meters, providing our operators an impressively wide field of view. To deter unwanted activity & crime from your location, our MSU is outfitted with a live communication speaker that is utilized by our video monitoring operators to issue voice commands.
In order to maintain full mobility without sacrificing stability, our MSU’s are equipped with heavy-duty retractable outriggers that stabilize the unit, minimizing motion & camera sway on windy days. This additional stability results in an overall improvement in video feed quality, ultimately enhancing its effectiveness in providing remote security.
Where can you deploy our Mobile Security Unit?
Remote locations, such as construction sites, are often left vulnerable to criminal activity due to the need for infrastructure – such as shore power & internet connections – which traditional security monitoring devices require.
Our MSU addresses this problem by utilizing a three-panel system – allowing it to operate on 100% solar powered energy, by storing harnessed power in a battery backup system. This makes the unit completely self-sustainable for protecting sites with limited or no access to power, or where running power lines is challenging or costly. This self-sustaining system allows our MSU to be deployed virtually anywhere, with an impressively low carbon footprint.
Additionally, by utilizing our proprietary Cellular LTE data compression technology, we eliminate the need for any wired internet connection. This patented technology allows us to transmit high-resolution video footage from our units to our UL Certified Video Monitoring Center without the exorbitant data charges that would typically be associated with cellular data transmission. This allows our MSUs to function in any location that has an active cellular signal, including both urban and remote areas. Due to the mobility and fast set up, our MSUs are an effective & efficient solution for providing monitoring & emergency response to security threats, and for use at off-grid construction sites, or outdoor festivals & sporting events.
