Commercial properties experience large amounts of vehicular traffic on a daily basis, with almost all traffic being funneled into parking lots for visitors, patrons, or staff members. Parking lots often serve as a vector for theft and both intentional and accidental damage done to vehicles.
While traditional security systems will incorporate DVR (digital video recorder) systems to playback pre-recorded video of vehicles arriving and departing the property in order to “capture” a license plate, we developed a proprietary license plate reading system, syncroPlates.
In conjunction with our license plate reader cameras on site, syncroPlates intelligently captures the alphanumerical values of a license plate, converts them into date, time, and location metadata, and stores high-resolution photos of the vehicle into our own and Canada’s largest civilian plate database.
