Our Innovative Security Devices
Utilizing high-resolution security cameras and wireless intrusion alarm systems, in tandem with our highly skilled video monitoring operators allows us to detect and deter potential criminal behavior for our clients. Our video security units are designed to surveil the perimeter of a site, and provide situation awareness, using high-resolution stationary cameras.
Our Pan-Tilt-Zoom (PTZ) cameras are utilized for focusing on points of interest, evidence collection, and live video patrolling of the location. A variety of additional security peripherals can be deployed in order to bolster on-site security, such as license plate readers, and thermal cameras. When a trespasser enters the view of our security cameras, our highly skilled operators in our UL Certified Video Monitoring Center are quick to respond; issuing voice commands to deter the trespasser, and when necessary, alerting the authorities. Our video monitoring operators work diligently from 6:00pm to 6:00am detecting and deterring criminal behavior before it happens.
Our innovative syncroDetect alarm system is utilized for monitoring areas that may be difficult or unpractical for a camera, or to provide additional security coverage for high-value assets or areas. This wireless intrusion alarm system utilizes both door & window contact sensors and wireless motion detection sensors that are deployed in locations such as site trailers, sea cans, heavy equipment, and buildings. Once the sensors are triggered, an intrusion alert is sent to our monitoring center, where our operators will deter the potential security threat, and inform authorities when required.
Once the security threat is mitigated, our monitoring operators will compile a detailed log report, which is databased in our syncroReports system. This proprietary security information reporting platform is our clients’ access point to security log reports, live video monitoring feeds, security metrics, and analytics. This tool is designed to keep you and your team informed and provide complete transparency and accountability for your site security.
Our Platform Security
Security does not just start or stop at the fence line of your property. Data security is provided for all transmissions to and from your property through Canada’s largest coast to coast private MPLS network. MPLS is a completely private network that sends data from our Head Office & Monitoring Center directly to the ISP head via fiber-optic connection. Data is then sent on a predetermined route to the optimal VPN tower, then connecting to the targeted security device, and vice versa. This allows our network to communicate between all of our security devices over a singular private network that is completely separate from standard internet traffic, in a means that is non-addressable (think: this device does not exist) on public internet.
Each one of our devices connects to our UL Certified Video Monitoring Center individually through our MPLS network via Cellular LTE wireless data transmission. This comes with a wide variety of advantages, namely the utilization of the Quality of Service (QOS) layer 2.5 sub protocol. This protocol requires the ISP (Internet Service Provider) to prioritize our data transmissions over other networks and data communication. The result of this is consistently low latency with all devices on our network, allowing us to provide high resolution video monitoring, and live remote PTZ camera control with no noticeable delay.
Since our MPLS network is completely private, our devices cannot be accessed or ‘addressed’ by any outside sources such as bots, hackers, or other intrusive cyber-attacks. This allows us to provide an unmatched level of security for all data sent through our network. Other security companies in our market space transmit data from their security devices via traditional internet connections, which comes with a plethora of issues. These issues include inconsistently high latency, and unsecure transmissions due to the nature of communicating through a public internet network, with ‘addressable’ devices. We always strive to set industry standards with our innovative technology, and this is reflected in our implementation of Canada’s largest coast to coast MPLS private network.
