The Timelapse Process
When creating a timelapse project video, we start with the installation and configuration of our high resolution 4K project cameras. To capture the entirety of the project, our 4K cameras are placed at an optimum position & angle.
Once the camera is in position, our client care department adjusts the camera to ensure optimal images are captured, tests the configuration and ensures safe storage of the imagery, and programs the timing of the snapshot intervals. These snapshot intervals can be customized and adjusted to capture key moments in the construction process such as concrete pours, crane assembly, and painting or final finishing that typically occur over a condensed period of time.
To ensure the integrity of the footage, all snapshots taken during the duration of the project are saved remotely, in real-time, to our time-lapse server that is located in our head office. Once the construction is finished, the snapshots are edited by our in house videographers and compiled into a beautiful video. Our videographers make the required edits to create a smooth and professional timelapse video; including footage stabilization, de-flickering, color grading, background music, intro & outro animations, and various other post-production editing that result in a high quality finished product, ready for publication.
