When people come together to help others, it creates a sense of solidarity and shared purpose, building stronger relationships and a greater sense of belonging within our community.

The Peel Regional Police Polar Plunge welcomes all do-gooders with a little courage and a warm heart willing to get cold and creative for a worthy cause. All funds raised will support programing and events for over 26,000 Special Olympics athletes across the province. These athletes are eager and anxious to compete, and after having events shuttered for the past couple years due to COVID-19, they need your support now more than ever! Your support will be pivotal in ensuring that every athlete can make it back to the playing field, and not be left behind.
Special Olympics programming is important for our community as they provide a platform for these athletes to participate in a transformative experience; developing skills, gaining confidence, and achievements, improving physical & mental health, while also providing a source of support, friendship & social connection. These programs and events truly promote inclusion & acceptance, which fosters a greater sense of community, locally and across the country.
On Saturday March 25th, 2023, Caliber Communications will be bundled up to brave the cold & cheering at the Peel Regional Police – Emil V. Kolb Centre in Mississauga for the 2nd year in a row; showing our continued support for these vital programs, developed by Special Olympics Ontario.
Alongside our corporate support of the event, members of our team, who have been affectionately dubbed as ‘Team CaliBURR’, will be jumping at the opportunity to assist these athletes – by braving the icy waters and taking the plunge!

To further support this great cause, Caliber Communications will match your donations!

For every donation pledged to ‘Team CaliBURR’, we will match it, up to a total of $2000! Show your support & pledge a donation here!
In 2022, we had deployed one of our Mobile Security Units which allowed us to record the whole event from a birds-eye view! Check out this timelapse compilation from the 2022 Peel Polar Plunge event, for a taste of what is to come:
