The fundamental technology that has made our advances possible are our patented data transmission methods for cellular network communication. The protocols and codecs created for data transmit allow us to send high resolution feeds from all remote cameras in full resolution. These levels of transmission are impossible under regular conditions.
Standard codecs for video transmission require several separate rules to be followed in both the way the video is compressed as well as how the video feed is transmitted. TCP/IP as a protocol requires data transmissions to continually ‘handshake’ with the sending and receiving devices for a plethora of reasons. The primary reason is to ensure the receiving device is still requiring the feed, and to assert security of the feeds by not allowing them to be hijacked while transmitting between two devices. Following these rules places a large amount of added bandwidth on a network, as the feeds have an overhead of communication that requires both processing power and available bandwidth.
In order to bypass this constraint, we created a custom protocol that allows the constant sending of the video feed without any confirmation necessity from the receiving end. This eliminates all ‘handshakes’ required. In doing so, this protocol would not function under the standard rule set of the internet; however, we have our own internal network within the cellular infrastructure across North America.
Our data transmission speeds are at the highest limit of what LTE can handle and with 5G ready devices, you can rest assured you will receive a free upgrade when the network goes live in the future!

Our proprietary syncroReports platform is fully integrated with our entire line of video security units. Authorized users can view all live video from our units on site, in real time. These video viewing features are obtainable directly in the browser, without the need for any additional software or plugins.
