As part of our corporate commitment to excellence and differentiating ourselves from our competition, we strive to provide our clients with full transparency when it comes to our security services. In line with this, we began working with ISN in 2020 to simplify the onboarding and decision-making process clients undertake to make informed decisions about utilizing security contractor services. We are proud to announce that we have further improved the ease in the contractor vetting process many clients’ undergo, with our participation in the ISNetworld RAVS Plus program.

What is ISNetworld?

The International Suppliers Network (ISN) is a global leader in contractor and supplier information management. ISN assists with streamlining the process of outsourcing third party contractors and suppliers. They achieve through three core processes; collect, verify, and connect.

ISN works to collect contractor information and requirements for a wide array of work practices, and then review and verify the information. The information is then graded (pass or fail) depending on if the business meets the requirements laid out by their organization.
Finally, once the contractor has been vetted, they are then connected with the end-user client. Ultimately, ISN works to streamline third party contractor vetting based on their stringent requirements. In 2020, Caliber Communications went through this rigorous vendor vetting process, and our organization was deemed to fit all the criteria required for contractors in their network.

What is RAVS Plus? Why is it beneficial?

ISN has taken the vetting process one-step further with their Review and Verification (RAVS) Plus service, and we are excited to announce that we have successfully been audited under the program’s requirements. RAVS Plus is an implementation assessment that investigates if the required health & safety practices are being implemented throughout the contractors’ organization.
The RAVS Plus assessment begins with assessing both Health & Safety training documentation and any supporting documentation such as equipment inspection checklists, or employee training logs. This documentation establishes the existence of the contractor or suppliers’ Health & Safety program within their organization. Once the documentation has undergone a review process and is approved by the ISN team, representatives of the ISN will then visit the contractors/suppliers head office for an in-person investigation & audit to gain a complete understanding of the health & safety practices in place.

Once the audit has been completed, ISN develops an in-depth summary of the company’s assessment, which is made available to the ISN’s hiring clientele; verifying and accrediting that the contractor organization has participated in the review program, and has met the requirements set forth by ISN.

Verified through the complex implementation assessment of our Health & Safety practices, ISNetworld RAVS Plus participation has streamlined the process to verify that Caliber Communications is the safe choice when selecting a security provider for protecting your assets.
